On February 28, 2013, a contingent of concerned citizens from central Massachusetts went to the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection office in Worcester to present a petition to keep the moratorium on incinertators. (The state deadline for comments is 5:00PM EST, March 1, 2013. If you sign the petition before then, your signature will count. If you've signed some other petition already, then good for you. You can still sign this one, too.)
Presentations about the same issue were made by MassPIRG and Toxics Action Center. These occurred in Boston and Springfield.
